On Weds 2.18.09 my man Matt Celliti (who works for Native Instruments) came to my store to demonstrate Maschine. It just happened to be the day we got Maschine in. So of course after the demo I went and bought mine.

  • @lexamazing Yepper. I actually bought it the day I shot this video. Since then I've been the #1 seller of Maschine in my region. Maybe even the country.

  • do you have to have reason or any software like that

like fruity loops or pro tools

  • @Joshie909 No, it comes with its on software that makes it an mpc. (just strictly for the computer). Maschine also doubles as a controller for almost any program. So templates are built in but you can build your own as well.

  • @93n371cfr34k No the computer is basically the brains and the controller is the just tells the computer what you want it to do. The beauty of it is that it's so easy to pick it up and work it that it makes beat making an organic experience. I'm coming from an MPC and Maschine beats the pants of it. It's so much more powerful.

  • Can you store the samples in it and play the controller by itself without being attached to PC later?

  • @biggareid Don't suppose you didn't throw it away yet!?! I hope i'm not too late!

  • NI may not be the best developer for DJ tools but they kick ass when it comes to production.

  • THAT IDIOT!!!.....LOL

  • what i never understood about this: what if i wanna make a complete song together with logic?? when i have made some patterns in maschine - how do i change/switch them for an arrangement and stuff??

  • this guy did awesome, great showcase of what maschine can do, especially in a nine min vid
