We had some issues when we switched from DSL to high speed, the thing wouldn't allow us to interconnect the modem>Vonage device >& router. We called them up and the sent us a new device, which was consequently damaged during a lightning storm. Just call there customer service, they were very helpful with us.

You are the first person I know who has this.. Why do you use this than cell? We dropped our landline 5 years ago, and cell works just fine for us.

I like having a land line phone, it ties you to a specific place that a cell phone cannot. Plus we got to keep our old New Jersey Bell number which we have had for over 23 years (and three phone company name changes- LOL!), so the family has it- and there is no confusion. Although we technically have gotten rid of the landline because this works with the high speed internet connection- at a substantial savings. I should say that I also have a cell- LOL!
