Another thing I was wondering, If you don't mind. My old gun is a very old, vintage "Red Head" brand name. And that thing kicks like a mule on steroids! And has a very deep toned, loud 'belch' to it when fired. It's been described as having a 'canon' like tone! lol! She's sawn off to legal Ohio limits, and 2" above legal. I'm just wondering why the newer guns don't have that same sound, anymore? I'm not a kid, mind you! I'm 46, from farm country, Ohio! No use for a gun, till a home invasion! TY

She's good. I was wondering how ya'll like the taurus overall? I know very little about guns, but have been questioning buying one of these. (The're on sell at Walmart!) I own a sawn 12 ga. that is longer than the taurus, though. It really seems small. Has that been a problem? I fell in love with the design of a "6 shot" pistol look! Personally, I have never seen one like that. But, as I say I'm not very experienced... I bought for home pro. Wish I'd never cut it! Length of it is sadly missed!

hearing pro?
With the recoil pad that comes on the rifle the kick is very light on most loads. Even the hotter self defense loads are easily manageable with a good shoulder mount.

We've really liked it honestly. The stock is a bit short for me, but it's perfect for her at 5' even. She picked it out as a home defense weapon primarily and I'm very comfortable with it for that role.
