I grew up in Spencer, NY, a very town of about 3000 or so people and I remember trips to Owego feeling like trip to the big city hehe. It had a movie theatre, Jamesway, Montgomery Wards(or Woolworths?)and of course a McDonalds.

Twenty years since I've moved away and I still miss it.

Congratulations Owego! I lived outside the village for many years until I moved into a subdivision in "Endicott", and Owego definitely is a "cool town!"
