Back in those early days, when Superman could sell breakfast cereal, and 'sugar' wasn't a dirty word, here we have an early, skinny Tony the Tiger (with Tony Jr.) selling Sugar Frosted Flakes!!

  • Uh-uh...National/DC didn't want "Superman" to directly endorse Kellogg's cereals (in the sponsor's commercials) during "THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN". This is why "Clark Kent" always pitched them...besides, Ellsworth had nothing to do with that; he was only the producer of the series. The Leo Burnett ad agency supervised production of the Kellogg's spots featuring Reeves and the cast.

  • I kinda have to disagree, Fromthesidelines. Whereas Superman doesn't do the talking in these Kelloggs commercials, he does appear in them!! I have a coupla commercials posted (with 'Perry White' and Zasu Pitts) where Superman QUICKLY flies thru and delivers cereal!! Superman just is moving WAY too fast to pitch the cereal!! He's faster than a speeding bullet, ya know...

  • Is it just me or was Tony the Tiger more skinnier then than now?

  • Gee-zus! Even in the 50s he was a goddamned peeping tom.

  • In one comic book ad..after"SpiderMan"foils one of the villians and gives the villians a box of "Hostess Twinkies"as ransome payment for the release of his("Spiderman's"/'Peter Parker's".."Aunt May Parker").."Aunt May"serves her favorite newphew a plate of "Hostess Twinkies"..while he holds up a glass of milk.

  • Oh, take us back to jingles and commercials in which we can tell what is being advertised. I have watched commercials that I swear don't have a product involved.

  • @SteevDragon67 same with the govment and aliens (so i herd)

  • @alwrig didn't you know that the American Dental Association, and Cereal Companies are in cahoots?

  • Anyhoo, we know how Clark Kent spent his time when he wasn't at the Daily Planet or fighting crime as Superman - he was acting as a paid informant for Kellogg's, spying on kids to see who was eating their product and who wasn't. "Uh-oh, Bobby and Susie are eating Alpha-Bits instead of the fine cereals made by our sponsor . . . time for Superman to crash thru the wall and scare these unsuspecting kids straight about the fine products from Kellogg's of Battle Creek!"

  • Clark Stop stalking !!

  • CHILDREN FAT VERY VERY FAT NOW

  • You can hardly taste the mercury!
