  • Correct, 65 DB(A) is like a speed limit - I dont have to drive at the speed limit but I can and probably will. 65 DB (A) not very loud? The World Health Organization states: 30 DB (A) for 8 hours results in sleep disturbance. The World Health Organization also states: at 70 DB (A) 24 hours per day results in hearing impairment. Weigh all the facts, ignore the sales pitch.

  • Here's a fact about wind energy - Quote from Bowark Energy's April 10, 2007 Confidential Right of Way Agreement. "2.1.6. Noise Rights. to generate and maintain audible noise levels on and above the Lands up to sixty-five (65) db(A) in excess of the ambient noise level measured at ground level at a point five hundred (500) meters in an upwind direction from the source of the noise, wherever originating, at any or all times of the day or night;" Yes, wind turbines do make noise, read a contract.
