He walked away easily. In fact, I think the hardest crash he ever took was when he drove the Taggert 81 into the Knoxville wall. Nothing fancy, but it must've hurt like hell.

my uncle used to do some USAC racing, and he had 2 especially nasty crashes at Eagle RAceway and the Belleville Nationals. At bellevile he went over the fence and he says that was wild. This fence is much much taller tho, thats insane

The driver that went over the fence told us, that ride was not nearly as hard as some others he had taken, when he went over the fence he hit the wires holding the signs in place and they slowed him down. If I remember correct the car was standing on end and it was hard to get out of but he was OK.
