This piece starts with a deceptive bass drum part. The time signatur is actually 7/16 and the bass drum is playing every sixteenth note, starting on th downbeat of the first bar. At the end of the 7/16 section, the piece opens up into a steady 4/4 groove. in the end, I enter into a 6/4 groove.

  • Your dads cool

  • @soeffingwhat i can't tell either....but the way i count 7 is 1 2 3 and an extra 16th, so 123a123a123a etc. There's a really good video on how to subdivide odd times, look up Darren Andrews-Odd Time Generator. hope that helps.
