BLAZING STEED: Bejeweled Blitz Newest Rare Gem 11/17/11

Well. This one's HAWT.

Currently only available through claiming 5 daily spins in a week (and through friend's rare gem posts). If you're wondering how I could harvest it already, I decided to purchase daily spins. I'm that anxious.

This is quite an unusual gem. You start out the game on a Blazing Speed (but not with a speed bonus so it feels super awkward at first). The Blazing Steed's main pro is amplifying the power of the flame gems, according to however many you detonate that game. Example of this: the two multipliers in the bottom left corner at the beginning of the game. Ordinarily I wouldn't have gotten the green one, since the explosion would not have reached far enough, but because of the power of the Blazing Steed it was able to. Finally, the game gives you a multitude of extra flame gems at the bottom of the screen in the Last Hurrah.

Clearly, you're gonna have to be fast to get full potential out of this. As many people have recently been complaining about the speed of the game, I can't see many people enjoying this. Popcap HAS updated the game recently to make the game as smooth and as fast as ever (along with cool new graphics).
However, this was not my highest potential (although still quite good for me), so I didn't crack a million. I tried the gem three times (you have to PAY around 50,000 coins for the second and third tries each!) and got over 750k each time.

Interesting new gem, I look forward to seeing what crazy high scores people are gonna get with this.
