This "steam" engine runs (backwards) on vacuum cleaner power. The motor generates approximately 700RPM. The design is based on Daniel B. Hartman's Lego steam engines.
Now my engine works too, I also uploaded a video about it. Yeah, there are other ways. You can also use compressed air,for a cylinger. I built one yesterday...HOLY, it works really good.
Ok I have watched your, and other's engines like this. And built my own from what I could see. I pulled up everything there was on it. But mine wont work. How did your work, and do you have instructions?

i made a Lego steam engine with a 2 by 2 cylinder. there's a video similar to it somewhere. it has a separated valve cam too!

ive made it to and it doesnt work. To much friction but it started to work. Also is there another way to make this without using the vacuum cleaner?
