It's been awhile, and it is because I have been incredibly busy, singing in this wonderful comic opera called "The Mikado" at college! This is the first operetta that I've been in, and it was so much fun to do, even though it took a lot of time and effort. I wish I could relive the experience again. In this hilarious operetta I was the lovely character Yum-Yum. By the way, I do not make any money off of this, I give credit to the people that arranged the music, which I will be adding here once I receive the correct information.

  • @dxweasel Hahaha! Your comment made me smile a lot, though sadly I am not Japanese. :)

  • Your voice is really beautiful. :) Is it from a play or just a song performance?

  • @socolabacha2810 It is from one of the whole show nights :)

  • You are stunning Melody, it's such a delight to hear you sing.

  • @trudbol Thank you Julien! :) I am most humbled.

  • This was great to see and hear. I did not know that you did things like this. My university is big on Opera!

  • Even someone who is only half-Japanese can appreciate this. Great job, Melody.

  • Great job, Melody---it's nice to see you in a live performance, for a change! You seem to be comfortable on stage and not nervous. Do you have/are you going to upload further videos of you singing songs from this musical?

You write you don't know who arranged the music. In the Wikipedia article “The Mikado”, it says “[...] music by Arthur Sullivan and libretto by W. S. Gilbert [...]”. I hope that helps :).

  • Three little maids from school are Weeeeee.... I love this Operetta G & S had so much fun with this Absolutely wonderful!!

  • Delightful! You did it again. Kudos to the person who recorded you also.

  • Way to go, Yum-Yum!!! Very beautiful indeed and I loved it!
