It's funny how Freddie always used to say that he was never trying to put across any kind of message with his lyrics, because when you think about it Queen have quite a lot of songs that are very anthemic and inspirational...like We Are The Champions, Keep Yourself Alive, Don't Try So Hard, The Show Must Go On...This band saves lives. <3<3<3

I used to have this song on a 45 when it first came out (kinda dates me doesn't it?). It was on the opposite side of "Another One Bites The Dust". I always thought it was kind of funny that you had "Don't Try Suicide" on one side and "Another One Bites the Dust" on the other.

This song may have saved my life. It was on the juke box when I was a young man. I thought I was going to wear out the grooves on the record but I'm still here.
