A section of I-69 north of I-94 buckled Wednesday afternoon, causing traffic to come to a crawl and move over to the shoulder.
It's amazing and fortunate no one was hurt, said officials from both the Michigan Department of Transportation and the Calhoun County Sheriff's Department.
Concrete sucks. All roads should be full depth asphalt. Smoother, quieter, less expensive, lasts as long, easier to maintain, does not blow up.

I don't really think it was the heat, it was warm but it wasn't even 100 degrees . It's just very strange that it was the only spot anywhere in Michigan that this happened. It get's this warm every summer
