Shannon's POV
I woke up bright and early on the first day of Grade 12 and ran over to Kristina's house. David let me in. He was wearing a pink dressing gown. I should've taken a photo and used it for blackmail. I did Kristina's hair and makeup and she wore her new clothes. Then we left for school. I couldn't wait to see Joe again; he'd been on vacation for the last week of summer. [a/n. in this series, Joe and Nick are the same age and Kevin is a couple of years older] We saw Nick walking round the school at lunch. He was being followed by Niki; it was hard to tell if Nick wanted her to be there or not. Kristina stared after him wistfully. "Hey, Kiki, you ok?" I asked. "mm" she replied. I poked her on the shoulder. "Kristina, do you still want Nick, you shall have him!" "Shannon! That's what got me into this mess in the first place" Kristina muttered. I rolled my eyes. "Well, if Joe hadn't been such a ___ and made a big entrance we wouldn't have been caught!" "Hey!" Joe exclaimed, "I still have the scratches from that!" "My heart bleeds" I replied. "Kristina, seriously, I have an idea. I spoke to Nick a few weeks back, I promised him I'd help you guys out and I promise you too. I have an idea!"
Joe's POV
I litterly did still have the scratches from the night that i climbed through Kristina's window.. i really should've brought a ladder. GOSH Joe , you think of that now? i told myself. Then i looked over at my brother who was sitting over at the populars table with Niki and her posse and the rest of the other popular guys. I sighed, i guess now i have to go talk to him. " I'll be right back. " i kissed shannons cheeck and whispered in her ear " going to talk to nick " she just nodded and started talking to Kristina. I honestly hated seeing MY bestfriend like that it made me sad, and then my brother being miserable too? this just sucks a monkey butt! did i just say monkey butt? GOSH joe your such a kid. Eh, thats why im loved. Wait.. am i talking to myself ? DANGIT! ... anyways, i walked towards the popular table and sat next to Nick, Niki looked at me and smiled flirty " Hey Joey. " i looked at her and said "mhm" then looked back at Nick who was just playing with his food. " Nick, come on, cheer up. " he looked at me and then back at his food " Can't sorry " i looked at Niki. " How long has he been like this? " she looked at me " Since i saw him at the mall, and you wonder why im flirting with you and not him. " EWWWW! thats just .. not right. " Uh?! ...... gross? " Nick accually kinda laughed, i think, it was really hard to tell. " why don't you come sit with us then? Davids not here! " he looked at me and said " i don't want to risk anything. " i sighed, boy was this kid fussy when he's miserable.. " Shannon has some sorta plan to fix everything, i dont know about it yet but im sure its good. " he looked at me again.. " Just like the last one where you guys got caught? " i rolled my eyes, WOULD PEOPLE STOP SAYING THAT!, i gave up " my fault, i fell out of a window into Kristinas room then David came upstairs and caught Shannon and me " he accually laughed!!! and im sure of it this time!!! " Same old joe " he said and then started laughing again. " Not funny, the tree outside her window hurts! " i rubbed my arm then held it up, he laughed again. I was enjoying making my miserable brother laugh...
