An often debated topic by those who don't think The Venus Project will work is the notion that we don't have the technology to pull this off. This video addresses this. If you want the full uncut version, let me know.

  • very good and informative video! I believe though that if we could get our hands on actual footage of those systems instead of 3D presentations,i believe people would be much more easily convinced it can be done :D peace

  • @L2Live Which presentations? There are vert maglev wind systems, tidal is real, so is wave (a town in Ireland has one). The only one that's truly theoretical still is space based solar, because no one's ponied up the money to get it done. JAXA is working on it though.

  • It's a shame they're still trying to use the old style wind turbines. They are so 1990's. There are much better turbine shapes than these now that are more efficient and, above all, do not kill flocks of birds if they pass through them. they also take up a lot less real estate than the prop ones.

  • @benmiles00 Agreed. I greatly prefer maglev vertical wind systems.

  • @lookingforthemeaning That's simple, cost. Profit over efficiency. It's a hell of a lot cheaper to mine coal than to build solar panel stations, but alas, you're only focusing on one of many solutions sets that would be all implemented at the same time, so the load isn't held by just one system, but shared among many.

I am done with your disrespectful comments though. This is my wall, go darken another, because you're not offering anything worth discussing. You lose. Get over it.

  • @donnamaco1 The Bloom Box uses natural gas. Which I believe is a Fossil Fuel and is not renewable nor sustainable. I'm not sure why it's in these videos. But it's an interesting concept.

  • How simple and effective is the Wells turbine??? Amazing!

  • 6:00 Never thought about that one before. I wish the 1.35 tril fiscal expense for military defense that America spent in 2010 could have been put towards this kind of wind power.

  • @TZMSocialEvolution Has anyone veriflied 'The Bloom Box'? This technology looks promising. I would love to have a bloom box. Shown on Television program called 60 minuites. Major scientific discoveries are underway and some people recognize that major change is quickly approaching, the mear suggestion of REAL change scares people. Example of that fear is lookingforthemeaning. We simply need to be patient while he catches up to the technology.

  • @darpa322 i think you might have understood me wrong. i do not advocate geothermal. i think it is a bad idea. i see you are right about the drilling. it would be a possibility in many regions . but drilling is also a waste of resources. making it more inefficient. do you see any more problems in this video ? :-) i do ;-)
