When you look at their prices and then hear about their service, it makes you wanna cry blood! Have a friend who was told that the reason his hard drive clicked was because apple made some really intelligent drives (won't go into details, but the way they said it worked isn't even possible!) Total BS!! Btw. apple don't even make their own disks! lie no. 2! Seagate and WD does! :( hope you received a brand new mac! As new as it is, a repair don't seem fair! especially considering the wait!

@THEMAN9851 Not true. Macs do get viruses. Macs also come with better hardware because you can't modify the equipment without breaking it. While yes, it may be user friendly, being user friendly isn't everything. I actually dislike the whole user friendly thing. Also, Macs run the same amount of power as a PC. Not environmentally friendly. And if you were smart, and bought a PC, you would know how to keep a PC in top shape, and have no need to throw it out or sell it. I've had the same PC 7 yea

@Izabual macs r simple(like u proved), quick, and environment friendly, they dont get viruses, u can sell it on ebay fr more then u paid fr it, and r user friendly, but pcs get viruses, they're slow, not environment friendly, not user friendly, not simple, and u cant sell it on ebay for more than u paid fr it

@THEMAN9851 First of all, it's YOU'RE. I'll overlook your use of the "u". Second of all, don't assume pc users don't know how to use a mac. Macs are designed to be used by retards. Any monkey with half a brain can use one.

Pro Sucks!
While Apple support is far from the greatest, a lot of times, it's like going into a store and just having bad employees. My experience with my local apple store has been positive, but you should try calling Applecare, because you have a better chance of getting your problem resolved or your MacBook replaced.
Good luck~

you are right, some employees are really friendly and some are really bad - but in my experience all of them have no clu at all and no technical background knowloege of the hardware...
