@menderfire9 Would you rather that we just keep starving the third world nations? At least they are given work. It may be a fraction of what we make in the more developed countries but if they weren't doing the work then they wouldn't be doing any work at all and back to starving to death. Also, the little money they do get is lots to them. So in essence, the "careless" people aren't so careless after all because they are helping to feed these poor people.

I'm interested to see what happens to the prices of consumer electronics after the market gets flooded with the Circuit City Inventory. They should be having a going out of business sale pretty soon.

Housing will be next! There is no justification for the housing prices, other than the fact it was driven by poor quality loans chasing a limited amount of housing. Now that the easy lending is gone, the incomes are there to support it. 2001 prices will come back.

I need to save money on food... And learn to cook better meals i actually enjoy.
Eating out is too expensive for me nowadays and i am trying to save. But i am sick of eating turkey sandwiches or grilling bland burgers on my foreman.
Ah, poor college life. Gotta love it - NOT! :)

I am such a dork. I paused at the grocery aisle shot to pick out brands I recognized.
I recognized a lot.
Yes, a lot of things have gotten much cheaper over the years thanks to stepping up the use of slave labor from around the starving world. Go Walmart, Target, Dollar Stores, go! Exploit the world's desperate workers & sell cheap stuff to careless people like us! Who cares about how desperate humans have 2 live in order that we can have so much crap in our houses, garages, second hand stores & storage rental places.. Go greed go! Then cry about our clutter & high prices. We suck & are proud of it!

I thought that too, but if you think about it it's supply and demand. Supply is up because people are getting kicked out of their houses and lenders aren't lending for new mortgages and builders were building excessively during the housing boom. Demand is down because unemployment is up, wages are down, and lender's aren't lending. Economics 101.
