During Imam Khomeini's short stay in Neauphle Le Chateau, a small town in France, the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ on Christmas day was approaching, so the Imam decided to sent gifts to all his neighbours to congratulate them and to apologise for any inconvenience that his stay was causing.

@danengland91 Brother in faith or humanity; this is not true, and I will tell you. Imam Khomeini was a scholar of the school of Ahlulbayt. They have taught us how everything must be done including economic transactions. In the Islamic school of economics, the resources belong to the people and private entities are not allowed to just start claiming and owning the resources because simply because they have the capability to do so.
