This is a short animation demo clip for Cooper Goodtime, a font created by Harry Warren of breauhare fonts. It is based on the lettering used on the CBS-TV variety series The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour (1969-1972).

The name pays tribute to its two origins, the other being Cooper Black.

It was never an actual complete font set on the TV show, only a limited number of handmade letters, all upper case. It has lain dormant since the show went off the air in 1972. With this incarnation, a set of lower case letters has been created to compliment the upper case letters.

Cooper Goodtime is a funky, nostalgic, cool way to create a display, and it works surprisingly well in text sizes, too.

This font was digitized by the late Bob Alonzo. Thanks so much to David Smouha, a.k.a. Smooee, of www.design2.tv for creating this videoclip! And David gives some background on this videoclip:
Revisiting the old west isn't easy, to profile Cooper Goodtime I wanted images that took you there. Playing around with source footage I took on my Christmas vacation I thought I could use it as the background video for this feature to introduce the font Cooper Goodtime.
