Hillary Clinton embraced Elton John as the Briton called her American opponents misogynists and told them to go to hell.

As much as I respect Sir Elton's position here, we cannot lose sight of how some people will use the term "misogynist" whenever it suits them even though the other person may not be misogynistic or may not have said anything to that effect.

"I hope Hillary wins, how about you?"

"Maybe, but I don't agree with all her policies."

"Of course you don't, you misogynistic piece of crap".

And that's just one example.

well i guess its easy to choose pussy over a real president when your a millionaire and you dont have to pay 6 dollars extra for everything you buy because your not a u.s. citizen - but then again elton's never been known for his expertise in political analysis

HC lost the Dem nomination b/c she explicitly ran as the Female Candidate, not as a person of vision, experience and ability, as Obama did. Like most male or younger female Americans, I didn't take well to a nanny figure wagging her witchy finger at me and saying, "vote for me or you're a sexist!". God help me, I probably would've stooped to voting Repub if she'd been on the ballot, and no wonder the Repubs wanted HER on the Dem ticket.

I also don't believe he was referring to all Americans, I believe he was referring to the "misogynist" Americans. I don't perticularly like Hillary, but I don't like anyone who hates her simply because she's a woman. I don't think that's why she lost though
