The infoclip illustrates how the European Union is helping regulate migration between Morocco and Spain, through an innovative programme of managed seasonal migration. It follows a Moroccan seasonal worker through the selection process, her trip to Spain, her arrival and fruit-picking work in Southern Spain. This infoclip illustrates a project managed under the EUs AENEAS programme. The aim of the AENEAS programme, a multi-annual programme set up by the EU in 2004 to provide "Financial and technical assistance to third countries in the field of migration and asylum", is to provide EU assistance to third countries to help them better manage and regulate migration in all its dimensions. This infoclip includes footage of: - selection process in Morocco; - journey to Spain; - welcome and settling in; - fruit picking.
