  • "Such indecision you have two minds in one soul", this is poetry!

  • @evanescence9314 Usually, music is superficial, and is therefore superficially received by it's audience. E.G. "Hit me baby one more time."

If, on the other hand, a piece of music was discovered to be meaningful and not superficial, and yet the audience receives it superficially, the philosophical crime is magnified; the message behind that would be the death of music, and the ultimate death of art, leaning towards the death of human communication entirely.

  • Im a BIG sonata arctica fan, but i must say i didnt like this song. Sorry. But i dont press dislike button. Thats only for kids.

  • @evanescence9314 I love Caleb and Juliet none the less. I really like it as a story, and the music is epic, as always.

  • @Elainiwen Caleb was a (modern day) character obsessed with Shakespeare. (he read the book about a man, a love, a woman, how they died) Usually in shakespeare's times people wouldn't read the book but go watch the play. So that's another thing hinting it's modern setting. But there's no final answer, we just interpret the way we want to. It's still interesting to discuss these things: usually music nowadays is perceived superficially and not appreciated as a thought-provoking work of art.

  • @evanescence9314 Or maybe Sonata just thinks that we can think it's whichever we prefer it to be? We can always drop the phone call intro and end up with a historic version instead.
