(NO SOUND) 5.7 second 0-60 on the first run after installing my Bully Dog GT. (Without any further tuning [just plug & play]) I believe I can cut the time down to about 5.3 seconds ('ish).. Please keep in mind that this is a full size HEMI crew cab that has on a set of aftermarket wheels with P265/55/R20 BFGoodrich All Terrain TA KO tires & for performance upgrades; has an MXP Airaid intake, AFE throttle body spacer & now a Bully Dog GT system...enjoy!
Also, I apologize for there not being any sound. Looks like I'll just have to re-do this 'performance test'. :P ha!

  • I timed it 5 times with an average it 6.1...

  • @tacoma54 - Close. My Bully Dog showed me 5.7 seconds.

  • @SRTifiedRAM 5.7 and 6.1 are a big difference.

  • @SFBay69 - I agree that in correlation to timing something, it is. However, my statement was saying that when tacoma54 timed it five times with the average being 6.1 seconds, that considering he timed it, (not being a computer device that directly timed it) he was close. The Bully Dog GT is more accurate because it taps into your vehicle's computer and is therefor, able to sense the moment you start accelerating and begins timing from that point.

  • can you tell me what kind if differance did the programmer make for you?

  • @rubberguy1982 - My throttle response was increased and my fuel mileage went up on average, 2 more miles per gallon. (I'm currently averaging 17.1 in town as compared to 14.9 before the instal) Also, according to the manufacturer, it will increase your HP by at least 15. (Using 93 octane it states that you can get up to an extra 25 HP) I've already raised my top speed and It has other applications pre-installed that consist from 0-60 & 1/4 mile times/speed. And that's just to name a few..

  • @SRTifiedRAM Nice truck man i had a 03 hemi got 12mpg out if it lol but ran damn good.I programmed mine with superchips day and night diffrence i could rev mine all the way to 7000rpm.Had 180,000 miles when i sold it.

  • @1Pueblito - I apologize, I'm not trying to 'hate', but that makes sense.

I definitely noticed a difference with the install on my '09 Ram. I do enjoy the whistle that comes with it as well. I've actually had people who were driving next to me, ask me at stop light if I have a turbo installed on it. Given, the times I received those comments was while I was driving my truck in 2nd gear in tiptronic (auto stick) mode, therefor keeping the RPMs right around 3,000 RPM.

  • @SRTifiedRAM no it was in a f150

  • @1Pueblito - With this same generation Ram?
