  • This one was sold 3 years ago but I have a 2006 and a 2009 available right now. Go to ebaymotors and do an advance search. Search for items by seller and enter my username which is jk_marketing

  • Americans must be in shock their beloved high tech japanese hybrid fucked up and gets less mpg than a humble turbodiesel from 100 years ago.If they didn't invent the wheel , there is no wheel.US is the only country where hybrid sales are much larger than diesel, rest of the world is exactly opposite

  • @Olengher You speak the truth. Americans do not purchase logically. They purchase based on what the media says is the latest trend. Hybrids are overpriced by a long shot. People buy them to save money on gas yet they pay thousands more upfront for the hybrid frauds!! It would take 10 years of driving to justify the savings!!

  • While you think napping is a good thing for some reason. You also seem to think I am some dumb kid. If I'd bought the tdi that I fully researched and drove. I'd of had first hand knowledge of it's high maintenance cost, not to mention most mechanics wont even touch it. THAT Speaks volumes.

You clearly will fight tooth and nail over the thing. For some silly reason. Besides, by now that paticular car has been wrecked or possibly parted out. I need not debate all day about this silly car. You'

  • @easydoz1 I personally do not believe in napping but seems as though you must need some more sleep so that you could make more sense. These cars are not tough to maintain and I know plenty of technicians willing to work on them. Our own technicians work on these on a regular basis. Whatever volume you are speaking is not very loud. Those who are educated about these cars know that they are worth every penny and then some. Ok,,now go get some rest like I suggested!

  • I read the comments. A short distance Isn't accurate enough. Don't be mad cuz the world didn't end on saturday.

  • @easydoz1 Once again, go take a nap and come back when you have something worth reading. If you had any knowledge or actual experience with the TDi you would know that the mileage shown is an accurate representation of fuel economy. I have bought and sold more of these than I can remember. I drive them from Florida to Atlanta Ga on a regular basis. I can make a 500 mile trip on less than a tank of fuel. If your opinion was valid and educated I would appreciate it but it is far from either!

  • just got back into a tdi, my 4th, a 06 jetta package 2!!

my last, a 97 passat, got 822 mpg on my first fill, 17.5 gals is what I used.... equaled out to about 48.7 mpg!!!!

    It's for real people!

BUT, the older tdi's get better mpg than the newer......

    ride on.......................................

  • @toni2mito Well, think about it. Does it look like he drives in the US or in the "Empire"?

  • Just wondering , these are US (1gal=3.78 l) or Imperial gallons (1gal=4.54 l) ?

  • Turn the A/C off and you'll get even more! :D

  • Is this car still for sale or anyone like this??

Website help and info will do

  • The people who wright negative about the TDI probably can't afford one, or have never drove one., I have a cheesy 1998 TDI BEETLE with 170,000 miles I change the oil every 10.000 and I still get 50+ mpg every day.. :)

Ps. The 5 and 6 speed really get the best mpg in the city

  • @easydoz1 That, makes no sense. I am with the poster. We have only had diesels, TDi's actually, and we have NOTHING but good things to say about it. Our V6 3.0 Littre All wheel drive audi A6 3.0 TDi quattro has been great. a full depot lasts around 900km, on a v6, we can do 6.3 Litres per 100km (convert it urself to mpg) on highways, and 8.0 on cities, and no trouble with it ever. our 1.9 TDi VW Caddy can do 5.2Litre /100km on cities ;)

And these TDI engines last forever. Beat that, you fanboy!

  • I want one .

  • Also i think Toyota has cult status in US, it's a good car, but cmon, you can buy a Ford Focus Titanium for the price of Prius wtf.Its american wtf, and it's good.In a Ford TDCi you get same mpg UPHILL that a Toyota Prius gets on level road, this is not bullshit.Thermal efficiency of diesel increase with pressure cos ignition is by pressure, where Prius gas engine is stuck at maybe 30% a diesel can go as high as 45% and beat the Prius in mild incline. This is not bullshit.
