Please dont yell at me tryin to covince me how cool todays bands are ie John Mayer, Gov't Mule or the Black Crowes etc. I've my own opinion too. To me NONE of todays bands come close to UK rock like Marriott!, the Who or the Small Faces & NONE of them had the subtle class of Ronnie Lane! He was a true trobadour first class & by all accounts a man who suffered his pains in quiet great dignity I miss musicians (& PRODUCERS & ENGINEERS WHO HAD EARS AND PAID ATTENTION!) like that. Lane was pro!
