@bradford8232 Well, I have seen'em. For a starter rock audiences were a lot more controlled by then.. This is just four years after Morrison being sued because he may have exposed something and use rude language on stage. And bands ahead of their time do see such crowds all the time, thruout the history.

@bradford8232: Punk in the classic sense did not exist at this point. Listen to the Dolls' albums---what other 'punk' band used piano? They were really a glam rock n' roll band that had a punk-like attitude but little or none of the manic energy & themes of hopelessness of classic punk. As pioneers of pre-punk, both the Dolls & their audience existed before all the stereoptyped punk trappings like mohawks and moshing came into existence. This audience was seeing history in the making.

I was at this now legendary gig, The Dolls' first shows in LA. Thats Peter Jordan on bass, subbing for a wounded Arthur Kane who had his arm bandaged up and in a cast after being attacked by his girlfriend. Opening band MAYSON, from Virginia, were killer.

makes me sad to see Johnny thunders were pretty good build in the begining. Not Arnold swarz build. But a nice figure and well toned muscles and looks strong and healthy. and ripped
