Redneck Slumdog Millionaire a spoof of Slumdog Millionaire

Slumdog Millionaire inspired us to create this tribute to the 2009 oscar winner for best picture. Redneck Slumdog Millionaire is our spoof, a look at the redneck lifestyle.

Our short film Redneck Slumdog Millionaire, tells the story of white trash redneck Nede Beaumont and her journey trying to win a million dollars on who wants to be a millionaire.

A note to our Indian audience. We loved the original oscar winning film for best picture Slumdog Millionaire so much that we made this as a tribute. We are in no way making fun of the film, or Indian people.

You will enjoy this film more if you understand what an American redneck is. If you are uncertain, please google the term and then you will better understand the humor of the film.

Ironically, the most recent real Millionaire winner was originally from a small town in West Virginia but the producers edited that part out and said he was from Philadelphia where he lives now. Maybe they didn't want him to seem like a redneck!
