  • Kent Jones was like "Why couldnt I host the Rachel Maddow Show??? Chris Hayes???"

  • Yup, I thought the same thing. :-)

  • Is part of religious indoctrination having your sense of humor surgically removed? always these xian derivative mayors and such that are so directly knee jerk on any comment without understanding the comedic angle to any extent.

"Why did the chicken cross the road? Are you insinuating our poultry industry has substandard containment and birds roam free? I challenge that and think you should take deeper considerations before making slanderous comments on our local establishments. "

  • Dark, they are struggling for survival. SNL had their right to do it; she certainly has a right to fight for the survival of those in her town.

  • As a resident of Peekskill, NY I must say that everything he just said, IS COMPLETELY TRUE. Except I don't eat rocks. It is a "Hell Hole" though.

  • Well i dnt like the fuckinq video bkuz its an insult to everyone livinq in peekskill so if u think its funny then F U

  • @wickedlick I have no problems that she brought it up, but she brought it up in such a manner that is counter intuitive to anyone ever visiting.

I mean I'd rather not visit a town when all I know about it is that the mayor is a stuck up cunt with no sense of humor. A mayor should be able to take it on the chin and use it more positively.

  • @Darkfirebrand Way late for me to see this clip and respond. The mayor had to take the 15 min of fame and show her town off for free. I can't see how she would think it was a bad thing. Like you said "No such thing as bad press".

  • @StartLoving2

Well, had the satire had any possible harmful effect i'd agree, but it's just coming down to people who simply lack any sense of humor. And lacking that can be dangerous She has a right to be offended, to publicly comment on how it's offensive, but that reaction is kind of off, and honestly not appropriate for the situation. No such thing as bad press, even insulted they have a grand pool of people who now know they exist.

  • Comedians... shouldn't... make fun of people...

*engages faciest face-palm that ever palmed a face*
