Is it a dog, is it a horse? It's Mini-Me the Great Dane!

My Great dane in his halloween costume. He went as a pony! He won first place in the costume contest at Barktoberfest.Thanks for your comments. I ordered the saddle from minitack.com Its a toddler saddle for miniature horses it comes in blue or pink. It was about $130. The saddle "blanket" is a rug from Wal-Mart. His mane and tail are hair extensions ,from a beauty store, sewn to a cloth in many layers for thickness. His tail is taped on with sports tape then wraped with 3" Vet wrap from the feed store. The mane is safety-pinned to the Halti collar. Yes it was a LOT of work, but we won first place!

@Kathiemin Many dogs accept everything, doesn't mean they like it. Halloween is something for humans to celebrate, people can dress up if they like that, but why bother the dog with it?

So adorable! @StCorentin if the dog didn't like it he would have been biting it and trying to get it off. My dog has a costume exactly like this but he actually does horse sports like jumping, barrel racing and even some dressage moves like the courbette and even the spanish walk. It took me forever to teach him those but if he doesn't want to do it he doesn't have too. This costume could have come off easily if the dog wanted it off. Just saying =]
