So many people come into my store talking to me about their battles with constipation so I thought I'd tackle a more avant-garde subject today: bowel movements.
Creating the squat position and following the 'gastrocolic reflex' we can become much more regular, as well as have more complete bowel movements. This will keep our system in a cleaner state which leads to more energy, mental clarity and a greater sense of well-being. (Did I mention colon cancer is preventable?)
Water, Fiber, Physical Movement, enzyme-rich food (mostly raw/living foods), and relaxation are excellent adjuncts to the all-mighty squat.
