i am so glad that she did do evita though or i wouldn't have anybody to admire like i do her .

she didn't like it. If you listen to her interview she said that it was very challanging vocally and also because the people who were the stage manager and director ect. were no help

Lol Josh (patti's son) is only 5 here... hes a senior in high school now hard to beleive how long ago pattis biggest roles were and now BOOM she hits us with mamma rose. Long live Lalupone!

Yeah, the reporter is not the musical geek some of us are. I never noticed it until you pointed it out. Now, I cringe as the reporter's mispronunciation echoes in my noggin.
A bit snobbish of me, but that reporter sounds SO American with the nasal "FAN-teen" -- it's embarrassing.

i agree. ALW is an idiot for firing patti!! she's incredible!! oh and by the way...that is sooo annoying how the announcer says fAAntine..its Fahhhhntine...not with a nasally AAA. lol i dunno maybe i'm just a dork but that annoys me....lol but anyways GO PATTI!!
