Brings back memories. Would love to go up flying with you sometime. I remember my solo flight about 30 years ago and my long cross country. I have some stories for you!!!

Thanks for sharing, well done Sir. But, for visability; who put all those cross braces in the way?!...

LEE County huh. I live in Port Charlotte. I soloed in a 182 in December, hate the amount of fuel it burns. Getting into the Remos G3 or Dova Skylark.

It's an Allegro 2000 light sport aircraft, the same one I trained and did my solo in on Dec. 6, 2006. Brings back some great memories.
That is just how the Allegro is built. Overall, few planes have better visibility.

GOOD JOB!!!!try get it on the center line ALWAYS, think PRECISION...and dont go so far out on your base leg...you lose an engine youd never make it in-if you ever get you glider ticket you will see my point...still flying???

I appreciate the feedback. I actually was pretty much on the center line but drifted off after landing because of a gust. There is an optical illusion because the camera was mounted right of center. I just got my private last week. And I was definitely make the field in that pattern in the Allegro because it has a glider wing(12:1 ratio power off...and I mean really power off, not simulated power off). Patterns are much tighter in the PA 28-161 because only 8:1 glide ratio in that.

The camera was mounted on a tripod which was tethered to the frame.
