Always an exciting time for any gardener; the moment we all look forward to. BUT, when you have over 700 peppers to pick, it can be tedious. Is there a faster way to do it? Here is my take on answering that question.

By the way, this is my idea of good acting. That's why I'm an accountant.
Thanks to my son, Stephen, for this concept.

  • hey do you wait til all your peppers turn red before harvesting? i always pick the red fruit as they mature because leaving them on the plant start to dry em and leave themnot as juicy .

  • @ENRIQUEGOITIA - Hi Enriquegoitia! I always let them ripen to whatever their ultimate ripe colour is before picking them. They reach their hottest level that way and the seeds become viable. I (almost) always pull the seeds out for my next year's supply. If some of the peppers wind up being left on and dehydrating...well, I dehydrate 90% of the pods anyway. Thank you for watching my video and leaving this comment. Much appreciated!

  • Wow those are great plants! I wish i had all those peppers! they most be good, hey my bell peepers finally came through! i hope you have another great year of harvesting!

  • @BlurryVideos2011 - That is so nice of you. Thank you for this great comment. Congrats on your bell peppers...I really like them as well. Especially orange bells.

  • your thumb must be on fire after that many peppers. Dont scratch your eyes!

    :)

  • @Buccaneerfan13 - I never feel anything by touching the outside of the peppers. But, when I cut the peppers up without gloves on -- (I always do that) it causes pain everywhere imaginable!! Thank you so much for watching my video and taking the time and trouble to leave this comment. I really appreciate it.
