hey do you wait til all your peppers turn red before harvesting? i always pick the red fruit as they mature because leaving them on the plant start to dry em and leave themnot as juicy .

@ENRIQUEGOITIA - Hi Enriquegoitia! I always let them ripen to whatever their ultimate ripe colour is before picking them. They reach their hottest level that way and the seeds become viable. I (almost) always pull the seeds out for my next year's supply. If some of the peppers wind up being left on and dehydrating...well, I dehydrate 90% of the pods anyway. Wow those are great plants! I wish i had all those peppers! they most be good, hey my bell peepers finally came through! i hope you have another great year of harvesting!

@Buccaneerfan13 - I never feel anything by touching the outside of the peppers. But, when I cut the peppers up without gloves on -- (I always do that) it causes pain everywhere imaginable!!
