I took a ride in Toms mustang "kiss me Kate" at burbank airport. It was awesome, one of the prettiest stangs I've seen. Very fun ride and cool experience . Keep watching until the end. A quick clip of an A26 starting up

  • 100% not KVNY.... For starters Van Nuys has parallel runways. It is also not that close to mountains. Looks like Burbank. That however IS a bad ass aircraft and I am 100% jealous!

  • @bradybowers I am surely mistaken, thanks

  • Fair enough... Van nuys area though correct?

  • @DonGomez007... Pretty sure it's van nuys but I may be mistaken. I'm 99% sure it's van nuys. It's a pretty historical place and hard to get mixed up

  • how were you able to fly in tom's plane?

are you close firends with the pilot or tom?

  • @bzzymatt neither really. just happened to know the right person =D

  • jealousy, its okay

  • Here is the good news, I am happy for guys like Tom. They take their money and use it to keep a piece of history alive. These airplanes are living examples of art that only a hand full have the wisdom to keep in flying shape for future generations. If left to the US Government they would all be scrapped for left to rot.

A tip of the hat Mr. Tom Cruse, I for one thank you and your flight department.

The specifications for the Mustang and the Yak are for the most popular models in terms of numbers made and in service. Both the Mustang and Yak had many variations some with slightly higher performance. It is evident that the Yak would not out perform the Mustang.
