1St day-Street witnessing at a train station-and the Start of the "Amazing grace Race" 30 straight days at different places-for one half hour. 4 man on camera prayed the sinner's pray.

I haven't been to church in 11 years (I went to saint johns in Oceanside when I did)......now that I'm older I'm getting back into the market for a new religion, and I was wondering if you can "sell" yours to me. What makes Christianity better than the rest?

Thanks for the comment. However, I cannot sell you a religion because that is the way people get deceived. One thing you need to ask yourself. Do you what to know the truth? Not just something that feeds a need at the time, I dare you to get on your knees and ask the creator of the universe to show you the truth clearly and when he does. You will follow ,Him whatever the costs. Then , I guarantee you will be led to Christ. I did this when I was 30 years old, and it changed my life.

It is the most productive, that I have found to pour the Gospel into people. There is no preaching or arguing at them. you just share the simple gospel and let it do it's work. Approximately 80 to 90% gab my hand and pray the sinner prayer.

what did you do to make sure this young man stays on the right track? Was there any follow up? Did he ever contact you or the church?

No the young man live in LA. We gave him our phone number , a FBI tract explaining the Gospel, and church location. However in street ministry a lot. This is the way I got saved. Finally someone shared the Gospel with me. I got born again and found a church. Not the best, but the church is to busy in their bless me clubs to care for the down and out. What about you?

please tell me where in the bible it tells us to say a prayer and we will be saved?? where does it say to pray the holy spirit into a person?? i applaud your efforts of being obedient and going into the streets and preaching the gospel, however i did not hear you explain to this young man what repentance is nor did i hear you mention baptism. please i beg you study the bible way of evangelism and then go and make disciples not false converts!! brother , i say all this in love!!

This is the kind of "witnessing" that leads to false converts. Pushing people into praying the sinners prayer which isn't even biblical. Man that was a pushy sell. BTW, follow up is not needed for a true convert. Trying to make sure someone is "on the right track" is basically saying we have no faith in our message and the power of God unto salvation. What did the eunuch have? Only the Word, the Holy Spirit and a repentant heart? God forbid.
