Ness is a beautiful white female Canaan dog, with black and brown stripes on the head. She is 3 or 4 years old, medium size.

About five months ago, she gave birth to six wonderful puppies in an abandoned house near Jerusalem; she was accompanied by a black female dog, who proved to be her daughter from a previous litter.
Unfortunately, four of the puppies were taken from her by different people and she reacted in a heartbreaking manner: every morning and every evening she was climbing on a cliff and calling for them for hours, hoping to find them. On a Friday night, about two months ago, there was a stormy, misty night and Ness went out as usual calling for her puppies. She slipped and fell from the cliff, from 20 meters straight on a hard concrete surface. She was found three days later, trembling with cold, moaning with pain, almost dying.

Her two front legs were broken at the impact. One of her hind legs and the basin were also fractured.

The deep wounds she suffered were taken care of, and now she is hospitalized in the clinic of Dr. Lisi Sharon, rehabilitation specialist, in kibbutz Ein Dor, for physiotherapy and rehabilitation in order to give her back the ability to stand on her feet.

In order to be able again to stand on her feet, Ness needs orthopedic surgery and a long rehabilitation. She has no owners to pay for her treatment. She is entirely dependent on us.

The orthopedic surgery on her front legs is expected to cost 10,000 NIS (approximately $2,400).

Ness needs money donations in order to cover the cost of the hospitalization and orthopedic surgery.
