Hello, pensandcalls, do you stop your wheel
and use a needle tool to check bottom thickness, I'm not fond of this method but works. I generally teach my students to guage
with thier thumb nuckle, you'll find your depth guage soon, because you are still tring, 1000 pots and all that you know! I have a hard time throwing off the mound for this reason. DebraRay

Right... those bottle vases are a lot harder than they look. I got 3 out of 12, with just one that looked the way I wanted. I'll try again tomorrow :) - Skip

Welcome back Simon!
So nice to have you back, missed you lots!
Hope you've rested up.
Do love the sunshine, however can't see collaring very well, will refer back to other video. How about a Salt Pig next, or wider studio clips?
Thnx

250 grams = 8.8 ounces. I just made one yesterday, but unfortunately I used a lot more clay than that! :o( I just can't seem to get the weight out of the bottom of my pots. I guess I am too timid with my thickness when opening.
What cooking demo? Where? I can't seem to find it under cooking. Cld you share SL or Skip, where it is?
Thank you,
DebraRay
