I just finished his book, fist,stick, knife, gun. Anyone who is willing to help kids who might shoot you with the gun, they are very brave, I taught in a small community, and the verbal bashing was pretty bad.

Geoff is so clear and on target....remember this was at a Forum in Feb, 2006!
When will we act on his foresight? When will we care about ALL kids just as much as OUR kids?

I think in the broad stroke generalities he is speaking about, he is 100% right. But we all know this to some degree. What we need is more concrete specific pragmatic solutions or even more clear definitions of the problem.
Don't just scream, "The shit is gonna hit the fan!" Tell me where the fan is, how much shit, & where to find an umbrella.
