  • Like two strikers looking at a goal keeper

  • In my opinion, Liam's pipes had a crisper sound in the 70's.

  • I love that you can always tell it is Liam O`flynn whenever you hear him, and this reminds me of a mountain wedding at 7000 feet where I was delivering the cake and they were blasting Liams pipes across the San Gabriels !!!!

  • Willie Clancy, whose version this is, would be thrilled and proud.

  • Just saw a used Alain Froment set sell for 12,500 Euros -- it sold in just a few days.

3k pounds is not bad. Every decent set of pipes is made by hand for a particular piper -- you won't find a factory, and you won't find sets on shelves waiting to be bought.

  • The audio is so very out of sync, but its still amazing, the picture and sound. Love the pipes.

  • Are your serious? 3 grand????? Surely there can be cheaper ways of obtaining a set. No? Where did you set sail to? And are you happy? Will you ever return to Ireland?

  • Lovely to listen to! The more I see and hear of the pipes the more I like!

  • well...ummm... probably to raise the pitch of it to the 3rd fret?
