The wp_head() and wp_footer() functions are important parts of any WordPress theme, but some theme authors neglect to include one or both of these functions.

For SlideDeck (and many other plugins) to work correctly these functions must be present in your theme's header.php and footer.php files. This screencast shows you how to troubleshoot and repair this issue.
