After reading the book The Little Princess by Marion Crawford, their governess, I was inspired by this royal sisters and the lives they lead. They were not spoiled and ill-mannered, but rather well disciplined and encircled in love by their d...evoted parents. They were misunderstood in the eyes of the world and misrepresented in the papers. But they were just little girls growing up in palaces, held in the eyes of the world.
*Elizabeth went on to marry Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh in 1947.
*Elizabeth has been Queen since 1952.
*Margaret married Antony Armstrong-Jones, Earl of Snowdon in 1960 and they divorced in 1978.
*Margaret died on February 9, 2002 after suffering a stroke.
