This experience also thought us the importance of tolerance and understanding for others and how important forgiveness is. If you cannot forgive you will always be a hostage. Violence and hate has never and will never be the solution. It will only fuel wars and destroy people.

During this time we faced many challenges, made many friends and saw many miracles. We are and always have been reborn Christians and therefore give God all the glory for our safe release. We have now dedicated our lives to helping others in need and our charity has helped thousands of abused children in South Africa. We have chosen to use this experience to seek out the positive in life and also to NEVER NEVER NEVER GIVE UP!
