Actually those two rupees are added in the amount they spent which gives 27
25 plus 2 which is 27 and then we need to add the remaining three rupees which they got back which equals to 30...

as shop guy gives 5rs that means they buyed 3kerchiefs for 25rs=25/3=8.3333333
and 2rs is tip and 3rs is shared equally.now u calculate all the money u will get the answer

Cost purchased = Rs. 10 each * 3 Kerchiefs = 30 Rs.
Shop guy gave back Rs. 5.00
These people gave back to boy Rs. 2 as tips.
These people distributed Rs. 1 for each person.
Cost for the customer = Rs. 9.
Question is Rs. 9 * 3 = Rs .27 + Rs. 2.00 Tips. Where is the missing Dollar?
Ans: Question itself is wrong, as Rs. 27 includes Rs. 2 tips. Brahmi rocks! Sunil rocks!
