  • if you have a program written in LD can you change it to an other languaje??

  • RIght-click the program in the POU list on the left, then select Convert Object. This gives you options of converting to another language such as IL or FBD

  • Are you using TwinCAT as your job or hobby?

Anyway, I appriciate this video very much.

I'm also goint to use TwinCAT.

  • I use TwinCAT mostly for work, but I work with a lot as a hobby also. Glad to hear that you liked the video and will become a TwinCAT user, I think you'll find it to be a very powerful software.

  • Can you put more videos about TwinCAT.

So Beckhoff sell industrial PCs and PLCs?

  • I intended to make more TwinCAT videos, but my time has not allowed me to make them right now.

If you are asking whether Beckhoff sells PLC's and PC's, then answer is Yes.

  • hi im studying to Automationingineer and I WANA learn TWINCAT!! dose some one know some video or books that can help me out, to learn twincat..

  • Its been a few years, but the last I known you can only use SST(this may no longer be true) and Beckhoff DeviceNet cards (e.g. FC52xx series) with TwinCAT. As for the BC9000, you can use any ethernet card. If you want to use the BK9000 for IO, there are several options. For real time, you need an Ethernet card based on the Intel chipset, otherwise any card will work.

  • Hi Archie. I have a couple of questions. What do you need to use the BC9000 is it a special card or just whatever ethernet card in my computer? The other question i have a BK5200 (Devicenet coupler) and i am using a 1787 PCIDS card with is an AB devicenet scaner card for the PC. And i cant add it to system manager configuration. when i put browse it does not find my PCIDS card and if i want to manually and the device i dont find my card in the list. Do i need a devicenet card made from Beckhoff?

  • Please post some working english tutorial links here. It'd help people out. I'd also appreciate if you'd PM me some links. :)
