  • @DJBuglip I remember first opening my brand-new vinyl copy of this album (they sell new ones! I was quite surprised to find. The only thing I wish they had done was master it in stereo, because this album was not intended for mono), and when I opened the inside, I was kind of scared. The full-blown experimentation just hit me. But the stuff that makes sense is absolutely brilliant. Two Heads especially. I wouldn't classify any of their stuff as their best, because it's all so different.

  • One more point, and I'll shut up: don't try to make sense of this, just let it wash over you and try to feel it instead. If you succeed, it should all come clear.

  • @Salzilloin2036 Granted, its extremely experimental, but keep listening. I think I was a little younger than you when my aunt gave me my first copy of this one (I've got, like, 4 now!), and over the years I've come to regard this as their best work, bar none, and imho one of the best albums of the sixties. The thing to remember about this album is that it's entirely their thing, unfettered by the record company, just pure artistic expression without any dollar signs getting in the way.

  • @igSgtPepper Dude, I was just relistening to that album high at my friend's house. Definitely!

  • @TheOneartist Lucifer Sam, Sian Cat!

  • I'll have to dig out my album and give it listen.

  • @Salzilloin2036 If you ever come across pot or mushrooms, try them. They're physically non-toxic and non-addictive. The safest drugs you can hope to do. You'll thank yourself.

Personally to me this makes sense, but I've always been into psychedelic/experimental music. Try Pink Floyd's "Piper at the Gates of Dawn" for example. Examine the lyrics, too.

  • acid fever

  • This album is saposta capture the psychedelic experience. Basically it's acid in an album.

  • @Salzilloin2036 Maybe you should do more drugs xD But yeah, they must have been really tripped out when they made this... Or maybe you should turn the volume up... That makes it a lot better hehe... Anyway............... Surham
