Draw with me 7. Misa Amane (Death Note)

HEY GUYS! It's been a long time! And here is another speed drawing by me (: I had so much trouble with this one because the files were too big (I recorded using a canon E05) and I had to convert them, and at that time I had to reboot my laptop because it had so much junk! And I had to reinstall sony vegas and all the codec. Finding the right codec was such a pain in my asian ass! (and my boyfriend's ass too XD).

RENDERING:
For some reason sony vegas renders my videos as huge ass files. Like this video was originally 37GB! So I had to convert it, but the conversion messes up the music. I was annoyed. I was upset. I was emo! I decided to render it non-HD and it's still a big ass file, 1.28GB! But youtube allows up to 2GB. So I thought, screw it! I'm uploading this now! So here it is. I've worked so hard to get this video up here. I hope you guys will appreciate and enjoy it (:

WHERE I COPIED FROM:
I really like this one and it was hard to give up on it (the rendering was a real pain -- words cannot describe the pain!) The manga book in the video is where I copied this picture from. The back of volume five is a picture of Misa and Rem. I just fell in love with the picture, her hair and her gothic appearance. Her hair kind of reminds me of Park Bom from 2NE1.

DETAILS OF THE PICTURE:
The picture was too small for my asian eyes, and so that would be why I didn't draw the hair properly. Also, I am a develping artist, so please do not bash me with hateful comments!

CHOOSING THE BACKGROUND MUSIC:
I had trouble finding the right song. Her look is so melancholic and I wanted to use 'Lonely' and 'It hurts' both by 2NE1 but I couldn't put a slow song cos it's a speed drawing. It's odd how my hands are moving like the speed of light (exaggeration) and the song is like a thousand years behind! It fits Misa but I couldn't settle with it. So I used my two new favourite songs. 'Love you like a love song' and 'Hate you'. I imagine Misa singing the first song to Light, despite his feelings for her. And the second one, well, I didn't know what other song to use and besides I love it ;D. Moreover, it is a song that most of us would relate to if we were Misa and we overcome her love difficulties. We surely would hate Light for using us etc. But despite all this, I actually adore Misa. ^__^

MATERIALS USED:
-STAEDTLER HB pencil (but you can use any type of pencil)
-Letraset fine liners (0.1, 0.3)
-Letraset pro makers (SKIN: Ivory, Satin, Cinnamon -- HAIR: Tulip yellow, Honeycomb, Ginger, Terracotta, Cocoa, Umber -- EARRINGS: Warm grey 4 -- TIE: Red, Berry red, Henna, Umber -- SHIRT: Warm grey 1, Warm grey 2) & a blender for blending the colours (Blender comes with the 148 colours) http://www.letraset.com/
-WHSmith colour pencils (EYES: Navy blue and Black -- LIPS: Red and a Darker red)
-Stump (to smudge the black colour pencil for her eyeliner)
-Putty eraser (I don't remember the brand)

Note: The letraset colours I listed here are from memory (with the aid of my colour chart). They are 90% accurate. I didn't think about writting the colours down when I had them out. Sorry. I will do so next time.
