  • @EddieLandsberg great point. you could put a mac truck between buckley and newton as far as beliefs go. but here they sit talking rationally, reasonably, and humanely about disagreements of great difference. today you get two people disagreeing over a 3% difference in the marginal tax rate and it might as well be a ufc cage match.

  • Huey probably didn't know this at the time of this interview, but as a black man in colonial times, he'd probably have felt more inclined to fight on the British side since they promised freedom for slaves.
