I noticed that when the Porsche and Viper would get close to slower cars, they would turn on their blinkers and move to the left. Is that a rule? I am guessing there were so many slower cars on the track because they are simply there to get speed ratings on that class of car? I think the issues with the Porsche versus Viper is that the Porsche makes up in smaller engine, with a much smaller and light weight body. The Viper is a big beast and god knows how much it weighs.
Same way the Americans added restrictors, then added weight then just banned Audi because their 5 cylinder were beating all the big V8's? Or am I not understanding you correctly...
PS: WTF are you talking about when you say "blocked off 2 cylinders" That makes no sense. They only put restrictors on the intake... And the Porsche is NOT turbo charged. Maybe you should "Learn your facts"
