The revised bailout bill also mandates that insurance companies treat mental health patients the same as those with physical problems. Katie Couric has more.

    you're an idiot!!!!!!!

MANY people suffer from mental illnesses, so fucking think about what you say before saying it (or writing it) you asshole!!!!

  • Mental illness does not exist. Those are labels for behaviors someone dislikes! Slaves who wanted to be free had "drapetomania" women who wanted to wear pants were under "permanent mental hallucination" NY Times May 27 1876 p6. Today women in pants are not "ill" ONLY in psychiatry does a disease STOP being disease when a majority has it/does it. In REAL medicine, malaria would not stop being disease if a majority had it! "DEGREES GIVE US IMMUNITY FROM DISORDERS" sez Mental Health pro!!!

  • Katie, where is your proof that this is a dark economic cloud? Mental illness can cause mysterious physical symptoms, so if the actual problem of mental illness is treated then it will save money on the physical treatment of symptoms. If only the physical symptoms are treated and not the actual problem, then the problem will continue to find ways of re-manifesting itself. It's like spending $1K in 20 years on duct tape rather than replacing a $5 pipe.
