@szmako There's quite a few theories on the type of illusions we may be I'm pretty confident. I think the main point they are making is the world doesn't exist as we perceive it. Our brains put all of the sensory information together into this "World" that we see. They aren't saying every one is delusional. The universe isn't colors and feelings and tastes and smells. That's just what our mind turns it into so we can make enough sense of it to function in it. We may be a beings dream. Who knows?

I think our minds talk to our hands the same way as our hands talk to the world around us. We can do the mime artist inside-a-box act, but we actually know pretty confidently when we are inside a box or not.
